Goals of the site
This site is designed to provide information about the results I attain in my research endeavors. In addition I want to help stimulate the mind of the reader.
News gives a rundown of the progress of the site, the first few weeks aren't recorded perfectly. Study Areas gives the results and procedures taken to achieve a result; for example, the Prime Discovery section. The Learn About area gives background information on the various concepts touched on in the site. The Articles area catalogs various pieces of literature I have written that pertain to the topics discussed within the site.
I designed the site very carefully to allow for easy navigation, pleasing visuals, short load times, and intelligent analysis of the topics discussed.
Thoughts on Research
Research is the process of learning by asking intelligent questions. In all forms of teaching, questions are posed to see whether or not students understand what is presented to them. Research furthers this by asking questions about what is happening in a study to determine not only what is to be found, but also information connected to the result. In this way, studies are more fruitful, in that conventional means are used in addition to thoughts posed to the information found along the way.
Society grows and thrives on the fruits of successful research. Not only does it provide a vehicle for the growth of technology, but also it challenges conventional thought patterns and provides a fresh perspective to what has already been discovered. Education is always challenged, and constantly changes as a result.
Civilization is a direct product of technology, which in turn was a product of Research. It wasn't before many skills were discovered that the first homes were created. First came mud huts, then stone buildings, later wood, and further still cement and steel construction techniques were devised. Each revision of the common idea yielded a more stable and better product.
Research is a tool employed by those who want to change the way things are traditionally done. Society continues to grow and develop as a result of research finding better or more efficient ways to do things. An example of such is medical health care, many years ago, older people had less time than they do now because new medical procedures are devised to correct many problems. As a result humanity has a better change to expand its boundaries, as older more experienced people are alive to guide those around them, or to provide direct help in the workforce.
Collaboration of brilliant minds is always shaping and changing the state of the world, from our knowledge of the sciences, to the very living conditions of the world's people, the treatment of diseases that were seen only years ago as a death sentence. It is the fruits of those among us that further humanity's knowledge base, and bring new developments in all imaginable areas of life.
The computer once thought to be only useful in scientific calculations has been discovered to have an infinite number of applications in society, for example their unrivaled usefulness in communication, or for entertainment with multimedia. All of these are of course peripheral to the primary usage of computers to help us study the world around us, but what better way to help us do that than to allow us to more easily make our finding available to all.
Our intelligence as a people is what separates us from all other creatures in the world. We are not as physically strong as most, for example the strongest among us is no match for the ant, an animal that can lift fifty times it's own weight. Our intelligence has allowed us to become the most advanced of all others completely unabated.
After all, if the world's people were satisfied, would you be reading my thoughts over your computer screen right now?
